Day 1 - Berlin Ku'Dam
Morning departure, drive across Germany and reach Berlin in the afternoon. Check in at our first class hotel, then time to stroll along the elegant Ku'dam boulevard. Your guide will have suggestions for dinner.
Day 2 - Berlin Sightseeing
After breakfast, sightseeing in the once-divided metropolis. Our city tour features the restored Reichstag, Charlottenburg Palace, a picture stop at monumental Brandenburg Gate, and the Holocaust Memorial, and the monumental Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten park. See the Museum Island and Kaiser Wilhem Memorial Church with its bomb-damaged tower, drive along Unter den Linden boulevard, and pass the State Opera House and Checkpoint Charlie. In the evening why not discover the city’s vivid night life.
Day 3 - Potsdam
Today we drive to Potsdam, the historic town of the Prussian kings and site of the Potsdam Conference of 1945. First we will visit Sanssouci Palace, the magnificent summer residence of King Frederick II. The palace was built upon a hill of terraced vineyards overlooking the town and the royal gardens. We leave Potsdam by way of Glienicke Bridge, famous during the Cold War as the place where spies were exchanged. Evening arrival at Ramstein.
